When we meet

Sunday Mornings

We meet every Sunday from 10:00am-12:00pm at the clubhouse for a paddle.

We are not taking any new inexperienced members until next year now. Anyone who wants to join with little or no experience needs to complete the application form if they want to go on our waiting list, so we have full contact details. If they have BCU 1 star or reasonable experience, please get in touch for an assessment.

Experienced paddlers, e.g. BCU 2 Star and above, are welcome to turn up at a Sunday morning session. Ask at the club house and a member will show you round and get you started.

We have access to just under two miles of the River Itchen. It ranges from flat water which is safe and suitable for beginners, to faster moving water at Durngate for the more experienced paddler.

Tuesday Evenings

We usually start at around 6:15pm and finish when the light has gone. These sessions are for people who can paddle reasonably well (around BCU 2 star standard).
