Winchester and District Canoe Club (WDCC) is a small multi-disciplinary paddle sport club. It was
founded in 1974 and has close to 100 members.
The club focuses on developing members from beginners to independent paddlers.
We are happy to offer beginners a taster session on a Sunday morning (with prior arrangements) and then follow through with basic beginners’ courses (PaddleUK Discover and Explore) once they become members.
These courses encourage those new to the sport to learn about paddling, safety and to build up their skills so they can look after themselves and others while enjoying being on the water.
We are always looking for new keen members to join us – be you a beginner, a competent paddler, someone wishing to help others enjoy the sport, or a qualified instructor or coach looking to enhance their experience.
